Peninsulas premier pro shop in Belfair has always done me well.

I have.  the young man I spoke with knew his stuff, unlike many of the gun dudes. If you catch the right person you are in good shape and in my opinion ,worth the visit.

That's good to hear. The time I called to ask about guns the guy knew next to nothing. I was asking for 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition and he had no idea what I was talking about

Never had a good experience with Peninsulas Premier Proshop.
Never had anything but excellent experiences at Sportco in Fife. It's worth the drive.

Pro shop in Belfair is the only one other than Sportsmans. He's pretty good most of the time, I think. I've had good work done there and one time not so much. I had my bow restrung & he set the draw length 1" too short, so I should have checked it before I brought it home, because I haven't had a chance to bring it back to be corrected. He's kind of gruff & not very personable a lot of the time. only had arrows cut & inserts installed at Sportsman's, no complaints.

I talked to Ryan at Sportco, I am going with them.  Bought a Mathews Switchback XT from Jim (Rkcrawl).  Need to replace cam (longer draw) and the string/cable due to operator error during test. Yes I hit the release during 2nd draw :bash:  Me and Jim looked at each other and I said, "well that sealed the deal" :chuckle:  I will let everyone know how it goes.

The Peninsula Premier guy knows his stuff but when he has buddies in the shop (which is often) it can be hard to get his full attention.  On more than one occasion the shop has been closed with no explanation (during hours they advertise being open).  BUT, he has done good by me on a couple occasions, I don't think I've ever paid to have my arrows fixed (I have bought all my archery gear there so I think I get a loyalty discount).  I'll put up with his quirks though since he is close and does good work.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it
