I was curious if this to. Seems like the lakes would still get planted, the fish are raised what else would they do with them?

Yea some of the lowland lakes are still getting planted. My group is still planning on stocking our high mtn lakes this year and have WDFW approval so far.

Planting fish in lakes falls under the "animal  husbandry" category along with most other hatchery operations and is considered essential.  Most lakes will still get planted, when you get to fish for them is the question...

By now many more lowland lakes would have already been stocked, according to what has been posted in years past. I am curious to know if they already planted a lake by our house or not. I think not. In past years it happened in March.

You are about 99% Wrong....lakes are still being stocked.  As far as your 1 lake example...not sure what to tell you?  What lake is it?  Have you contacted your local hatchery?  Have you been at the ramp patiently waiting for the truck to show up?

I would be very surprised if the stocking doesn't go very close to the original plan.  Tons of trout eat tons of feed and I can't see WDFW wanting to spend a bunch of extra money right about now not to mention issues with too many pounds of fish in a given sized pond.
