I liked this demounting video, and I've followed these guys channel for ideas on my XJ. Don't use those scrappy harbor freight bars. You'll bend or break one in the middle of your project. Get a Ken tool brand from 6 Roblees or some where else.

Heres a question
Getting ready for new rubber and rims any input or experience with this size set up on here ?
Currently have a 3 inch lift with stock rims and 265/70/r17 toyo at2
2013 Toyota Tacoma quad cab short box
I pull an 18ft Duckworth and small travel trailer with it
drives pulls and handles well but want a little beefier all terrain look
wanted BFGs but cant get the size I want in load range C
so
looking at Cooper Discoverer A/T3 and aftermarket chrome rims at discount tire
Cant decide on 275/70/r17 or 285/70/r17 ?
Looking to keep the smoothest ride possible

If you go bigger you will loose torque. Most notable when towing. I think both tires are good but don't have any experience with the coppers myself but I hear good things.

I never got around to posting a good how to video for the plug flat fix. This one's pretty good, and I follow Bleeping Jeep since I own an XJ.
If you are in a pinch you can put the plug ANYWHERE in the tire to get it to seal up. Even the sidewall to get yourself back to town, camp etc. If the whole is in the tread like the video you can probably run indefinalty. My go too tool for pulling nails out of a tire is a pair of side cutters or dykes. The allow good bite and you can put something under the head to get some leverage.

Another redneck way to bust down the bead on your truck tires. It appears this guy is breaking down an H2 stock wheel.

This demonstrates the use of harbor freight tire bars/spoons. I personally am not a fan of these, but with a bunch of hot soapy water they would work fine.. I could probably use just 2 but for the cost of 3 would only buy you one good Ken Tool Brand iron. Besides if you start bending that cheap Chinese tool your taking too big of a bite.

Brands of Tires to Avoid at All Costs
In recent years, many Chinese tire manufacturers have come under attack for making substandard and unsafe tires available for sale in the United States. Furthermore, some Chinese manufacturers have been the subject of forced recalls by many state Attorney Generals and the Federal Trade Commission. While there are many variations of Chinese import tires that have come under attack, companies that have been the subject of forced government recalls include:
•Westlake Tires
•AKS Tires
•Telluride tires
•Compass Tires
All of these brands of cheap tires are made by the China-based Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Company; furthermore, it is alleged that these tires lack even the most basic of safety features such as gum strips which are a rubber feature that helps prevent steel belts inside the tire from separating or damaging the rubber.
