To me this says I can kill carp without a license, they are like collared doves and starlings? Let me know what you guys think.

Should be fine since your not following any season or laws anyway. Just like our squirrel hunting. No season no limits on non native species?

I would say no as it is fishing and all recreational fishing is closed.  If not, then some fishing would be open including pike minnows and whatever else doesn't require a license which would also include kids under 16.

Take a drive across a floating bridge on Lake Washington right now! Look north, look south, you won't be able to count all the boats!!

If this crap is ok, I'm out the door already!

It’s not fishing. It’s shooting of a non native species that has no limits, no seasons, and no regulations attached to it.

Yup, closed as well.  :sry:
I don’t see that it would be closed. If you have to travel it would be out of the question. If I lived in Moses I would be shooting everyday. No fishing regulation as far as I know.

Even though you do not need to have a fishing license for carp. It is still a food fish with regulations such as method of take that fish and wildlife controls. So it is still managed by wdfw. Just like other fishing so I am sure it would fall under the closure.

Shad season is wall to wall people and they do not need a license either but still monitored by wdfw. So that will be a big one coming up if still under lock down that lots of people will be out trying to do.

I shad fish every year and never have stood more then 15 ft from someone. Sure would take the fun out of it for me.

Last time I went shad fishing in a boat we weren't 15' apart.  I could have handed a bottle of Grey Poupon over to the next boat.  In that fishery, it's no big deal, actually fun seeing everyone catching and there are always tons of kids reeling until their arms are sore.

John day is where I fish as well. Never within 50 yards of anyone on shore. But I choose weekdays.

Washington. I’ll usually see 10-30 people as far as I can see down the bank. But no reason to crowd for shad. Last few years have been killer fun.
