You can get a new Prime Rize off ebay for $500-$550. You can easily find a good rest, sight, stabilizer and quiver for $300 by using ebay and archerytalk.com. plenty of guys still quality items with very little use all the time. Prime comes with lifetime free factory strings also.

I am just getting into archery and bought a PSE Ferocity rts package from Sportsman’s for $399. I wasn’t too impressed with the components that came with the package, so I decided to swap them out. I picked up a used Spot Hogg sight, a new Hamskea rest on sale, and a tight spot quiver on sale. Im into these three accessories About $400. So you could easily pick up a nice bare bow and put together your own “package” for $800. Good luck.

Yeah man, keep an eye out for lightly used bows. Rokslide is another good place to look in the classified section. I’m a lefty and it’s super tough to find used lefty bows, but I got a smokin deal on a Mathews Halon off of Rokslide. Just don’t be in a hurry and you can find some great deals! Good luck!

Buy USED.  These things lose their value faster than RVs

I picked up a 3 year old Bowtech Prodigy fully loaded with decent furniture for $600 on eBay two years ago.  It’s still shooting like a dream.  Brand new that all cost someone $1500 minimum.
