This doesn't go down as a great story.... but is a VERY memorable thread...  Met him a couple of times and just had a lot of respect for ICEMAN

Iceman was a really good guy. Here's a message I received that I thought should be shared:

I won't call it a good one but the "Bullwinkle" thread bears mentioning.
That one had me googling JD's replies.  I can't remember them all but one of them was "give him a hickory shampoo"  which apparently means to ruff you up with a police baton to the head.  That thread was giving the bigfoot thread a run for awhile.  >:(
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

some excellent mentions, some I would mention in addition would be DBHAWTHORNE's quests,  really enjoyed riding along with him from trail camera to success.

yes!!!! Great old reference! What ever happened to him?

Post links if you can.

Anyone who posts the bigfoot thread should be permanently banned :chuckle:

Was it huntinphool who finally killed his moose but it was after he had shed?

Now Phools moose story was a classic!! We will never let him live that down!!  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

thank you sir! So many killer hunts are getting buried and hard to find and have been missed by lots of the newer members. I wish I had a better memory so I could better search. There's been some epic elk and deer hunts as well as oils over the years.

Outstanding Rasbo! Great choice, a classic!

I would also add the Mole Skin Thong thread to one of the best as well,  :hello:
