Found this knife while shed hunting. Only antler I found that day

I have no experience with this kind of stuff, how hard would it be to put a shine back on that blade? Pitting?

That's a nice find, looks to be hand made, I found a wallet years ago while deer hunting the few bills inside crumbled into dust and all the credit cards were expired.

Salvageable I think, the brass is easy, some flax oil on the antler and buff the heck out of the blade.  Serviceable with a story!!!  Neat find

That  looks like a Sgian Dhu, a Scottish knife that goes in a leather sheath, in your sock. Some of those are Really collectible.

If you soak it in evapo Rust it cleans right up used it on my Misery Whip saws
