My wife mentioned last year when camping that she was ready for a tent that we could heat. With plans of expanding the family, our tent is going to be to small soon. I've been looking at these for a while and debating it. Anyone have any experience with the Cabin tent with the attached awning? I like the idea of the 2nd door our the side, and the big awning that can be enclosed if it's buggy out, or for an expanded gear storage/sleeping area.

That's pretty slick.  I'll tag along for this ride.  I already have a KC 10x14 that I love, but that awning is pretty cool.

My old man and I are looking at maybe downsizing from our 16x20 wall tent for more flexibility and are looking at this option along with the enclosed awning. Depending on duration and location of trip, could run just the tent or bring the awning too.

I have the Kodiak 10 x 14 with a vestibule. As others have said, it works great for two with a cot on each side and room for chairs ect in the middle. The vestibule is ok, but too small to keep out the weather if there is much wind. You will want a pole of some kind under it for some headroom and drainage. A painters pole with a tennis ball on top works great.  We heat the tent with a Buddy Heater, don't run it all night, but don't believe it would be a problem to do so.  We use a seperate tent for cooking when the weather is windy/cold.

I had looked at those too, but due to a lack of many reviews or much talk about them in the web, I went with the standard flexbow. If you get one you should definitely write up some content about it or post a little video on YouTube. I bet people would appreciate it!

I too had been looking, finally found a excellent shape 10 x 10 with awning for the right price. Only set up and used in the yard so far. But as soon as more things open up.... Can't wait. Also we heat with a big buddy. So EZ to set up.  :IBCOOL:

Nice looking tent there! I was going to wait for a Memorial Day sale or something to grab mine (not even sure if they do sales like that), but after looking around I found a brand new one, still in the factory sealed box for $150.00 cheaper than anywhere else. Just a thought if anyone else is looking.. mine should be here Wednesday and I’m gonna set it up on Saturday to check it all out.

That is some good looking around, that is an absolute steal at $150, you should probably go pick up a lottery ticket also.

Haha,  Maybe is said it wrong.. I got the tent for $150.00 cheaper than any other site I found. I grabbed a 10x14 flexbow deluxe for $499.00
Still a steal though If ya ask me..

We purchased the 10x14 with vestibule, just the wife and I....but as others have mentioned it can get a little tight, especially when you've used wall tents all your life. So with the ease and speed of setting these up, we purchased another just like it, then with a little work with the vestibule we have a covered, closed on one side, walk way between our two tents. One for cooking-table and chairs, and other with cots for sleeping. Lots of storage this way and not stepping on each other..... They are great and so easy and much faster than wall tents, we run and gun a lot of different areas through fall and winter and I have zero complaints about these tents to date....

I picked up my first 10x10 KC last year... found it on offer up posted for $50... When i arrived to pick it up I met the man selling it.  Old hunter battling cancer I sat and talked with him for a while and he explained to me that he was shocked when he found out the price his wife posted it for... It made him feel better it was going to another hunter and would get great use!
I hope hes still keeping up the good fight he had some great stories.
