What is your favorite revolver?
« on: April 17, 2020, 08:45:08 PM »
During the State at Home order, I've been cleaning my revolvers. My favorite is a M625 JM Performance Center revolver with a 4" barrel in 45 acp. 2nd favorite is a M66 357 mag with a 6" barrel. What is your favorite wheelgun?

I have a s&w 627 pc .357 with a 5" barrel and 8 round cylinder, its got a lot of miles on my hip, goes with me just about everywhere.  I have been very glad to have it on more than a couple occasions.

It aint cheap, but its a great gun, and costs less than some others that dont have as much to offer.  If i could go back, i think id get the r8 which is an ugly sob, but i think a slightly better gun due to the factory sights on it and it weighs less.  After all, an edc woods gun needs function above looks.  It aint a fashion show out there, nobody is lookin.

I have the 327 and its my favorite. My snake series guns are a close second.

I have a new switch 22/22mag revolver I am really digging.

I have a S&W Mountain Gun in .45 Colt that is easy to carry, and very accurate for a 4" barrel.  I also have a 4" Colt Anaconda .44 mag that is a gas to shoot, but just to heavy to carry.  But I guess my favorite would have to be my 4" Colt Python.

My problem is that I've had a bunch of great revolvers, but sold or traded them at some point. The S&W 610  was probably one of my favorites until somebody offered me the right price for it and I sold it like a fool!

At the moment I'm really loving a GP100 in 10mm. It's not as nice as that M610 was, but it shoots just as well. I load all my ammo to an OAL of 1.55", the same OAL as a 10mm Mag. I get 1420fps from the 4" barrel with a 200gr bullet.

Cant decide
When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

Although a puny 357, I don’t think I can get rid of my GP100
