My favorite to shoot was my Ruger Super Redhawk 5.5in. Super accurate!
One I should have kept.

My least "accurate" gun I have ever owned, I won in a poker match from a buddy.
S & W model 657 41 mag, 3" barrel, hammer and front sight shaved. Good size for a pocket gun!
I would have better luck throwing it at someone than shooting at them,  :chuckle:
Also the last revolver I owned.  :hello:
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

Either way, PMR 30 or XDM in 10mm, no way is it in my pack. Front and center, ready to rock.  Oh ya, 4" Colt Python I traded years ago...... :bdid:
Agree 100%

A G20 rides on a gunfighter inc. chest rig

The .22 is in the pack, if I'm dine chasing elk for the day and get into grouse on the way back out....dinner!

you guys... there is a difference between revolvers and pistols.  The question asked was what is your favorite revolver.

I have a s&w 627 pc .357 with a 5" barrel and 8 round cylinder, its got a lot of miles on my hip, goes with me just about everywhere.  I have been very glad to have it on more than a couple occasions.

It aint cheap, but its a great gun, and costs less than some others that dont have as much to offer.  If i could go back, i think id get the r8 which is an ugly sob, but i think a slightly better gun due to the factory sights on it and it weighs less.  After all, an edc woods gun needs function above looks.  It aint a fashion show out there, nobody is lookin.

That’s why the R8 is the last revolver in my safe! It’s not for everyone but it flat out shoots and the barrel length and weight it perfect. And if you want, throw a light or a red dot on it.

For years my favorite was a Ruger Vaquero, even favored it over my Freedom Arms .454 due to the weight. But recently I picked up a New Vaquero and it launched to the front of the line. It's so much lighter and svelte compared to my larger framed F.A. Model 83 and (old model) Vaquero. Both Rugers are .45 Colt of course.

4.5" Blackhawk in 41 mag has been probably my most carried revolver on my hunts.  Lately I've been toting a 44 special GP 100 with a 3" barrel.  I wish they'd make a 6 shot 41 mag on a GP frame if it would work...I think it would.

I was really close to sending a GP-100 off to Gary Reeder to have him convert it to 41 Mag. That was right about the time Ruger put out the Match Champion in 10mm, so I decided to save the $2000 and just buy the 10mm instead of having a 41 Mag made. The 10mm will never be a 41 Mag,  but it's close enough for now. I'd still love to see a 4" 41 Mag GP100 though!

My current favorite is Ruger Blackhawk in 41 Mag with hand loaded 210 gr XTPs.
My wife's favorite is her GP 100 in 327 Federal.
Yorke whenever you are ready to part with that 10mm GP100 you know how to get ahold of me!

This one:

I learned to shoot on it and then my dad gave it to me.  I've had this pipedream about shooting a grouse, but they seem to be allergic to it, no matter if I carry it or it's in the glove box, I'm guaranteed to not see one if it's out of the safe.

S&W 632-1 in .327 Federal.   Not perfect for woods or cc but pretty good at both. My most carried sidearm, either pistol or revolver.

I have a 44 mag Colt Anaconda with a 5 inch barrel.  I love it. It is also pretty rare but I still pack it hunting and shoot it.
