My backyard hitting bird feeder bait stations.

Mine from last year. I need to find my card from a couple years ago. Bear ate my camera in June and I got some great photos of a first hand mauling.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

Jackelop.....great pics, they are like kids in a candy store to any feeder.  I shut my corn feeder down from late spring to late fall because bears use it as playground equipment.   Funny thing is they don't eat the corn that dispenses on the ground....I think they are attracted by the sound.  It is fortified so they cannot break it....but it makes for great photos.  I don't post those photos due to all the naysayers on this forum thinking it baits bear.  I feed deer all winter long with it.  My food plot feeds the animals through the bear season so it is the best of both worlds.

Back on track...Bears are very curious and destructive machines when it comes to grub.   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

This was a bear on the border of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness a few years ago. At first I thought I had spotted my first mountain goat in the wild. Put the spotter on it and verified it was a bear.
Sorry, not a trail cam pic. I don’t even know what color you call this. It was August pre-season otherwise there might be a rug on my wall.

Had feed out on my property.  This lil guy came in everyday for about a week. The feeder was strapped to large I-Beam because feeder kept getting knocked over by elk.

Wow, lots of color phase bears on camera this year!
nwalpineguide, I would mount that first one in a heartbeat!

OK, that sounded funny, I would get that first one mounted by a Taxi in a heartbeat,  :chuckle:
