what are you talking about?  I thought you may have been referring to giving a shed back for the squirrel gods or something.

Those nutrients will help deer and elk grow their antlers. Good idea!

I have only found one in the area I hunt, besides mine.🤣

You must be hunting an over populated hunting area.🤔

Must be chasing flat land buck's.  Migratory bucks, well god only knows where thay will drop their antlers. Yes there is historicaly, area where buck's dump. But to put a salt block out, and exspect that buck to drop within walking distance of that block...... well I'de rather buy a lotto ticket.  :twocents:

I think hes just saying that if you are picking up sheds, to dump some minerals to help them grow their antlers back.  Not necessarily the same deer that dropped, but just bucks in general.  :dunno:

He’s talking about giving the post shed deer salt to benefit new horn growth. Not to attract pre shed deer.

Correct, and it would be a mix of calcium, phos, selenium, minor micros and salt to promote consumption.  Would not always put it where you found sheds, you know your deer, put it where they summer
