Trying to buy a Kapowsin permit?
« on: April 22, 2020, 10:25:35 AM »
Im having a heck of a time registering on Hancocks new national permit site to buy a Kapowsin permit.  It just wont take a password I create no matter what I do, and yes Ive followed their instructions.  There are no phone numbers or anything to call for help.  Am I the only idiot that cant figure this out?  Any help appreciated, Thanks-

This is from an email hancock sent out before this years permits went on sale, you're definitely not the only one having issues: (attached document they are mentioning)

"Please review page 4 of the newsletter for information regarding creating a new profile within our new website.  We are aware of the password difficulty and do not have a way around it, you must use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols without using an actual dictionary word or name."

If you are still having issues try emailing them, they usually respond quickly: recadmin@hnrg.com

I’ve bought two passes , it’s a pain in the butt the first time!  Your password cannot be any word in the dictionary, complete scramble of lower case, upper case, numbers, symbols.

Camping is free w pass, everyone in your family has to have their own pass, except kids under 18. No e bikes allowed even in your car/truck inside the property, no alcohol or drugs allowed, those are the big rules. Not sure how you can see all of them, pretty long list. No shooting spike deer or doe’s (any weapon) except for special permits.

The rules are online for each tree farm. Click on the Kapowsin tree farm and this screen will pop up on the left showing the PDF of rules.
