My dad's S&W Model 19-3 357 with a 6 inch barrel is the smoothest, most accurate revolver I have ever shot.

I can't believe there aren't any Colt Single Action Army fans here. 

I'm not really all that big on revolvers but a Colt SA Army is one I'd like to add to my list.

I can't believe there aren't any Colt Single Action Army fans here. 

I'm not really all that big on revolvers but a Colt SA Army is one I'd like to add to my list.

Originals have a tendency to be a bit cost prohibitive and the quality of most of the replicas is, meh, at best. They're definitely iconic though.

Don't mean to derail the thread, but I have no idea what "meh" means. I Googled it, and found this:

"Meh is a term that means whatever and used often in disgust or disapproval.  Meh has become popular among teenagers to communicate to others when they don't want to put forth any effort to actually describe how they feel."

Is this close, or does it have some other meaning?

That's the 'meh' I took it as.  Kind of applies to most replica items made overseas to cut costs.

Classic SAAs have soul.  New ones, not so much.  I'd sooner own a Vaquero, I think.

Underwhelming, lack luster, sub par.... my lack of effort in trying to really elaborate beyond "meh", is pretty fair reflection of the effort put in to fit and finish on the majority of SAA clones.
