If spring season does not open you will be drawing with 700 extra people, majority of them have some points if they got drawn this year. These 700 people would of been at zero points next year and basically No worries for most of you in next year's draw.

Now as it stands in sure at least a handful 5-10 people have already got there points back and will go into next year's draw with there points.
May 4 when the big extended stay at home order comes in .
Who knows how many will be frustrated, disappointed,or just done with it.
If you wanted to draw next year ,you should of supported the season opening this year.
The same scenario could play out with fall permit season .
The ultimate point creep and lower odds then before.

I haven’t been following anything as closely. Is may 18th a likely opener for spring bear and turkey?

The farmer's market at least provides groceries and maybe someone doesn't then go to Safeway.

Having the waters and woods open to EVERYONE except hunters and fishermen is what is wrong in my mind.  Not counting state land which is uniformly closed, we are the only recreational group that is restricted.  Close it all or open it all, but treat all recreation equally.

For the NE corner May 18 would be perfect time to start hunting for bear.  Bear are in rut and roads are drying out and you can get around better.   Later has always been a better hunt in my book.  Yes I know we have all killed bears early but I would take May 18 opener over April 1 anytime. :twocents:

I'm thinking this is the problem with any type of reopening seasons, fishing,Turkey, bear, is a doctor is in charge instead of the governor. :twocents:
