Probably nothing, but they have threatened citations and even misdemeanor arrest, which I doubt they will go that far.

What proof is there that you did not in fact self quarantine?

What if u also pay taxes in Idaho. Some people own property in both state's. Seems like a justifiable reason to be there.

I'd think it has more to do with the warden working that day.  I once got a cited for a no-plug on a new shotgun, apparently the piece of stick i put in wasn't long enough.  Warden said i had to pay the fine and had a mandatory court date a week later in their county.  Told him how i am supposed to show up to court when i live across state and gotta work. Warden basically said the laws the law and if i didn't show up an FTA would be issued, which meant an arrest warrant!  All this over a no plug.  That following monday i called their county office spoke with his sergeant and explained the situation.  His sergeant was nice, basically told me not to worry and that he would expunge the citation.  Guess long story short i suspect if the warden wants to flex his authority he's probably going to. But be prepared to make that cross state trip for your court date if you do get a ticket, especially if he's already warned ya twice.

So even though you’re not supposed to be there unless you quarantine for 14 days, it’s ok to be there if they can’t prove it? Is it always ok to pick and choose what laws to obey?

Me me me me me.

That's not how I read the previous posts, the me me me me attitude. Who says they're picking and choosing laws to obey? What if they did show up at their residence in Idaho, self quarantined for two weeks, as they were supposed to? How do they know you didn't? Is a valid question.

It will be OK Idaho left there season open . I'm not sorry for them. Isn't no different than Washington closing down entire seasons cause this person can't hunt here or that person can't fish there. The way I see it Idaho earned extra revenue from Washington residents now deal with it .
