Could have swore I saw a Rabbit?

Glassing from the road above, we could have swore we saw a White Rabbit, on the road below.
 But by the time we reached the spot, no White Rabbit.....nothing!

Then on the way back to my Rig, we passed this girl who asked if we happened to have seen, a White Rabbit run by ?
I lied and said  "No, we had not."
Strange!
Maybe I need to buy a Coon Hound?  :dunno:

I think grouse but no context for size. Footprints seem too close together?
