Any Garmin Rino sucess using Bluetooth ear buds..??
« on: December 04, 2020, 11:35:06 AM »
Just checking to see if anyone/group is having any success using Bluetooth enabled ear buds with the Garmin Rino's?  We decided after a short fused failure this year to tackle this thing right away so we are not up against the clock next year after wasting an entire off season.  Just learning the in's and out's of the Garmins but would like to be dialed in well before next year, including wireless ear buds if possible.

Anyone else have any Garmin "tricks or tips" using these units?..

Thanks in advance.

I run several Garmin Rhino 650s.

No experience with Bluetooth.

Remember to re-calibrate compass when ever you change batteries.
Turn off the land repeater option just run on satellite's. ( makes waypoints jump around)
You will burn out a AA battery pack if it gets wet.
Lock the screen when moving or things get changed.
If you use Go To function remember to turn it off.

I have hearing aids that bluetooth to my phone.  I was hoping I could bluetooth them to my 755t, I was not able to.  My option now is to run one hearing aid and the garmin bluetooth earpiece in the other ear or continue to use the wired earpiece that fits on the outside of your ear like the old walkman earphones so I can use both of my hearing aids.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
