It will not be a free for all. Actual start dates will come from WDFW, some will be May 5, others may be later.

Presser is still ongoing. He's laying down the rules now.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Now it is up to WDFW to open our bear and turkey season on the 5th.....anything less will cause havoc!!  They can no longer blame it on Inslee.

But they're saying to stay local and camping still isn't allowed so it makes it kind of hard for people who want to hunt on the other side of the state.

They just keep repeating doing day trips. Kinda think that’s why fishing isn’t going to open in areas 1-4 because a lot of people have to travel. Wouldn’t be surprised if hunting might lag behind.

All state lands will be day use only. Literally the first thing Inslee said.
