Fishing and Hunting to re-open on May 5th

Just announced.  Thanks to everyone who sent emails and made phone calls to the governor, commission and representatives.

It will not be a free for all. Actual start dates will come from WDFW, some will be May 5, others may be later.

Now it is up to WDFW to open our bear and turkey season on the 5th.....anything less will cause havoc!!  They can no longer blame it on Inslee.

But they're saying to stay local and camping still isn't allowed so it makes it kind of hard for people who want to hunt on the other side of the state.

They just keep repeating doing day trips. Kinda think that’s why fishing isn’t going to open in areas 1-4 because a lot of people have to travel. Wouldn’t be surprised if hunting might lag behind.
