Got into a couple dozen in the Nile at 2900’ yesterday.  Made some great Swiss burgers last night.

North Idaho-  went out yesterday with the lady for a good long hike.  We found them just starting to make an appearance, around 3000' elevation, both in the open and in dense timber under redcedar.  We only found 12, but it is still early, I think.

They are out thick and the rain yesterday will probably have more coming in the next few days. Will try to post some pics later. My brother's GF found a monster probably 7 inches long.

Was up in my Jolly Mtn fire honey hole above Cle Elum yesterday only to find it completely taken over by heavy flushes of LBMs (little brown mushrooms).  Super bummed. Anybody else running into this?
The spot literally went from a 15 gallon producer to a couple consolation prizes...

I was out above  lake Cle Elum  the last two weekends, and over on south Cle Elum ridge. I know what you mean by the lbm..., thousands. Two morels. I'm going south a little with the family tomorrow. We'll see if we get into them.

Wife and I were foraging on Friday in a burn that produced plenty laat year. Winthrop area. A carpet of brown unknowns but not a single morel. We did find a few random morels near camp last night. Nice topper for some marinated venison sirloin steaks
