My understanding is that these fish were going to be destroyed if they didnt find a place for them.
No Kokanee in Riffe they are landlocked silvers. I don't think the triploids will be much competition. I think they will probably end up about the size of the silvers. They dont get fed like the triploids we usually think of on the east side.
What happened to the Kokanee that used to be there? I used to catch them with my Grampa. We would throw back the coho, and keep the Kokanee. Of course, that was awhile back...we still called it "Davisson Lake" back then.
