Last weekend of the season: Not the biggest birds I've bagged, but so far my favorite because of the company. He loved the smell of the spent shells BTW, I think he's hooked!

It helps to have friends on the east side. We got 4. I got one with four beards! My boy is very handy with his 20 gauge.

First night. I took the last of three as they crept in. One ran off, which I think is the one he got the next day. The other decided to flog the one I shot. He didn't make it very far as my boy tossed a load of 5's in his noggin.  The next evening he shot #2 at the top of that long stick in front of that stump.

Made some people very happy. These toms were in there basketball court behind their bedroom strutting and gobbling at 5 am.
