  Let the little chocolate go right out of the gate. Seen a good boar right at dark. Little too far for my liking with my new rifle!and got dark before I could close the gap.

Got out today a bit ,spend most of the time chasing turkeys with my son,but glassed a few clearcuts with no luck.seen another bear hunter on a bicycle that made it in before us.

Well the little brownie I seen yesterday just gave me too good of a shot and the kids were wanting to get a closer look at him. 🤣 So I figured may as well not waste anymore vacation days. Save them for later this year. The new 6.5-300 preformed flawlessly as expected. So two days in and notched a 2020 49 Springer permit. Have seen upwards of 20 bears the last few weeks but nothing really stuck out to me as the One. Kids are happy and I am back at work already.
