Had the opportunity to take Mrs RadSav out bear hunting this weekend and she laid down a good bear this morning.

Got a good one over the weekend. All credit goes to a good friend of mine! He spotted it, ranged it, and I still gave this beautiful bear a warning shot before smacking him through both shoulders. Enjoy a couple cool pics

Doubt ill try to fill my 2nd idaho tag, so this is probably my final submission to the thread this year.  Nice chocolate sow i got in ferry county this morning at about 20 yards.  Was just about to start calling when i heard some noise, so i just sat tight and here she comes, fed right up to me.  Sometimes the hunting gods decide to give you a freebie.

Bango, If we didn't already know that you were a bear-killin'-machine, that gun would give it away.  If bears watched horror movies, that's what Freddy Kruger would be carrying... :chuckle:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

the gun will be getting a makeover soon.  I have a laminate stock for it, harrassing a guy to make a suppressor for it, and going to have dreadi give it some love with the cerakote.  This .444 is *censored*.  First year hunting with it, its got 3 bears now and zero tracking required.  Just flat out bang flop, every time.

Edit to add pic.  Put the laminate stock set on.  Much sexier.  Need dreadi to work his magic on it now.

Great job everyone. I need to quit slacking and get out there and put some more effort into my second tag.

I still have to get my first tag filled. I'd like to drop the one milling around my neighborhood, but I might have to actually get out and hunt.
