Full mount turkey??
« on: May 07, 2020, 08:17:33 PM »
Who does good full mount turkeys and what is the going rate.  I know there are a ton of variables with price but average cost.  Best way to preserve a turkey for transport from field to a taxidermist?  Thanks.

I think I was the last or one of the last Willow Creek Taxidermy turkeys to get done. It’s one of the best I’ve seen. At the time I believe it was 850.00.

With season getting close I thought I would bring this up again. Interested in getting one of my wife’s mounted. Anybody got any suggestions. Central Washington preferred but will drive if it’s a quality taxidermist. I was driving 3 hours to my previous one, but his wife has told him he has to get a 9to 5 with benefits so that sucks for me.

That is one of the nicest flying mounts I have ever seen....

I thought it too....also thought it was weird someone was asking how to get a wife mounted!!! :yike: :yike: :yike:  This is a PG site....or so I've been told.

With all that being said....I think tru to life taxidermy would do a great job.  He is in East Wenatchee and does fine work.  He does amazing waterfowl and upland game mounts so would have to assume his turkeys would also be amazing.

Great but how are they on people?...  :chuckle: :chuckle:
Thanks. Hopefully my wife, only one, can fill one of her multiple turkey tags with a nice Tom this year and get a full body mount of one of them.
