I don’t know the story. I saw the pictures and interpreted a story which made me laugh. Maybe it was their captain?

The Irony is that they were willing to go out and check because why, they were not there to check for license, they were only there to enforce the idiot in governor's policies.

As funny as the prank is, it is more sad, that the police would be put in a situation where they have to do this.
