I had a set of Bilstines on my Dodge 4x4. Wore out faster then the cheaper Monroes. Never again. Not worth the extra money.

Was it a diesel? The Cummins weighs A LOT. Burns up everything in the front end. Ask me how I know...

You can get Bilstines for $311 on Amazon, I’ve had them on for a year, so far so good.

No diesel. 2004 half ton. When I bought the new Monroes at NAPA, even the counter man said people have been saying the Bilstines aren't worth the money.

Of all the info offered up here there doesn’t seem to be any Pro Comp users.  I wouldn’t go with Pro Comp. I had them on my 2007 Ram 3500 and the front blew seals 2 times.   Right before I sold it I put 2 new Bilsteins on the front.  Couldn’t tell much of a ride difference but I will never buy Pro Comp again.

My 2017 Ram 2500 had a Carli tuned suspension on it when I bought it with Fox 2.0 and it rides very nice.

Bilsteins on my cummins and blew the front in months.. less than impressed. You could take the shocks off those trucks and not notice any difference in ride quality :chuckle:

I had pro comps on my duramax.  I think I replaced them at 110k with a set of the same.  I didn't have any issues.

I had Pro Comps on my previous truck (Silverado) and wasn't overly impressed with two that blew out within the first 5K miles.  They did however warranty and stand behind their product.  My Cummins now has Bilsteins and I've been very happy with them for a decent all around shock that won't break the bank.  They were definitely an upgrade over stock but as mentioned above, solid axle diesel trucks aren't going to have great ride quality unless you throw a lot of money at the suspension.

Have Bilsteins on my F-450 that replaced Ford branded Rancho shocks.  Big difference in ride quality even on a 8,000lb truck.

Agreed!  Nothing like a bunch of oil blowing down the side of your rig from a blown shock seal.
