Turkey Hunting
« on: May 14, 2020, 12:16:19 PM »
So gonna be hitting the woods next week for some Turkey hunting, I understand it is pretty late in the season, just wondering how the birds are acting these last weeks of the season?  Any answers would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!  Andy D.
Lord , we've been here on days before
and often times you've let me score
Now do you think that on this day
you could send a gobbler down my way?
And , if not , just let me say--
you've given me another day
to hunt the bird I love the best.
I don't mind sharing with the rest

I have had a Tom and several Jakes come in silent to my calling.  Wait and look before moving because with green up you can't see as well.  Also it appears to be a very strong year for ticks...

My hunting they have been quite as I said, but my Teen shot a Tom Sunday AM after fly down...I was the caller.  It acted like it was 4/15 and gobbled his head off.  That was Spokane area with good weather.
