Eddie Bauer First Ascent. I have about 8 pairs I rotate through for work and hunting. They're the best.

Prana Zions are good, so are Columbia Royce Peak very similar.
The Wrangler Outdoor Performance Cargo Pants $21 at Walmart.

I have been using Columbia lightweight Hunting pants for about 10 years, they hold up fantastically.

Prana? Aren’t those Seattle beatnick bottoms  :chuckle:  Just teasing. If you’re looking for rugged, bombproof, full meal deal warranty hunting and or hiking pants....look at the Sitka Mountain pants (yes, they come other colors besides camo if you wish).

Well, I looked at both Prana and Sitka.  Having the same problem I always do....Sizes don't fit me, I'm a big and tall guy.
NEWS FLASH for manufacturers.....Not every tall person is skinny, and not every fat guy is short.  :bash:

I have a few different Sitka pants and have done well with them in their tall sizes. I’m a 36/36 in Levi’s or wranglers. I wear 36tall in the Sitka pants. My all time favorites are the Timberlines. I have the ascents and mountain pants too but the Timberlines are pretty much always my go-to. I don’t do a lot of early season hunting though. They’re probably a little warm for September.

I would take a look at the wrangler outdoor pants from Walmart. They are really comfy pants that dry fairly fast when they get damp. I have the 90%pants, the mountain pants and the ascent pants and I end up wearing the wranglers the most.

Yes sir, the Timberlines are the Mountain Pants on steroids. I have both and really, besides an ultra lite pair of very early season Kuius, I don’t have a need  for any other pants in my gear box.

Yeah. The ultralight pants for me are the Sitka Ascents.

You will have a better selection at the individual stores.
I found that the online Walmart store does not show what is at the brick and mortar stores well.

My go to everyday and hiking pants are Outdoor Research Voodoo pants for DWR protection. Super comfy and durable. Good luck.
