Question for you muzzy aficionados. Will this factory site setup be good or is there a better option for the Bighorn that you recommend?

Western states legal options please. ;)

In WA, just stay away from magnifying or electronic. Peeps are nice, as well as some upgraded standard sights.

Sabotloader has a lot of posts on the sights he uses.

I have this setup on my Bighorn & Disc Extreme.

I have had some issues finding bullets to load easily. I have had the best luck with the 290 grain T-EZ bullets.

Fantastic accuracy with my Knights.

 Thanks for the links.

I’ve only hunted with a muzzy once, got a nice buck on a quality hunt, and hope to draw another tag at some point before I die! :dunno:

The only issue I had with the one I had borrowed from @m_ray was at distance, the front sight covered the entire vital area. I am hoping to be able to set this one up with a sight that will allow me to still see the critter when aiming. :chuckle:

Did they give estimated shipping dates to any of you?

I read something about shipping being a couple weeks out but I don’t remember exactly what it said

Which is why I bought one. @M_ray would have loaned me one of his again without hesitation, but like you, why put questions in your buddies decisions? ;)

I don’t have any issue with shooting long range with the factory sights that come on the Bighorn.   In low light or shooting into dark backgrounds, those peep set-ups can let you down.   Additionally, target acquisition is much faster with standard open sights.

I agree. I put Williams  peeps on my Bighorn several years ago. After having those exact issues I switched back to the stock sights.

I drug my feet and now they only have .52 caliber. Is it still worth it?

A bit tougher to find the sabots.  That would be my main concern.
