Of the ones in stock what do you guys recommend for a first time buyer?
I grabbed a Wolverine last night. Kind of scratch my head at $45 shipping, but it was still under $300. Still around $100 less than I paid for my bighorn 8 years ago.I went with the wolverine because I wanted something easier to carry. I can’t say anything negative about my experience with the bighorn, other than that long barrel makes it a hassle to carry with a sling, it always wants to tip off my shoulder. The wolverine is also spec’d out at around 1.5lb lighter than the bighorn, and less than a pound heavier than the ultra lite.I figure I’ll take it out and shoot it, for what I paid if I don’t like it, I can still afford an ultra lite!

Both shoot great.
