https://www.muzzleloaders.com/product/bighorn-52-cal-fpj-209-muzzleloader-breech-plug/

Dang! I just ordered 300 “Silver” sabots and 200 of the .52 cal 275gr Bloodlines. I got the sabots to try some .458 325gr Hornady FTX’s I already have. The stinking sabots and the bullets “ Bloodline’s” cost more than the muzzle loader. Knight’s shipping is nuts. Forty some bucks for the muzzle loader. Thirty bucks for the sabots and bullets. They want $15.00 shipping for a $17.00 breach plug.

if you guys are putting the conversion kit on, Natchez shooting supply has them the cheapest.

Have you had much experience using Natchez? The reviews of there site is horrible.

I tried before, everything seemed good until checkout.  The shipping/handling charges were so high that I just logged off their site.

Just curious? For those of you that purchased one of the Bighorns on sale. I expected it to show up, set up with a breach plug for the #11 caps. I thought the 209 breach plug was a conversion from the factory configuration. Mine showed up 37 days after ordering with a 209 primer breach plug? For those of you that purchased one. What ignition breach plug did you get? #11 or 209?

you had to specify which setup you wanted.   I got a 209.  You can buy the the western breech plug and nipple pretty cheap.

I ordered the western version and today went to take it out to shoot it and realized I received the 209 I even went back to the order email and verified I ordered it correctly so sounds like they messed up on a few of them I’ll have to give them a call tomorrow

Any particular reason you want #11s over 209?

I’ve bought a few demo scopes off of them, never had any problem.

Mine worked out great. Picked up the .52. Ordered a bunch of the 275gr Bloodlines. With 120gr of Triple 7 it is incredibly accurate. Unlike other muzzle loaders I have owned, this one just kept delivering. I loaded and shot 13 times in one session, without cleaning. Others I have owned you couldn’t hardly get the 4 sabot to load.
