Hey guys, my wife was fortunate enough to draw this tag. Just wondering if anyone out there has hunted it and or could share some things you have learned on the hunt. Not looking for any spots. Just curious what your overall option and experience was on the hunt. Thanks

What time of year and is this a bull or cow permit?

It opens October 15 and goes till November 4. This tag is an either sex elk tag.

That’s what I’ve gathered so far. Hear it’s loaded with elk. Do you have in experience in the unit?

I deer hunted an area in the north of 39 last year. I back packed in and found some cows and a spot where a bull was wallowing and tearing up the trees. Could be an area to check out but due to the beaver dams you have to maneuver to get there. Lots of wolf tracks.

Sorry to ask, but was this Wyoming? I didn’t realize I that I didn’t specify what state the hunt was in.
