What date will WDFW release the special drawing results for deer and elk? If anyone knows I would appreciate it, thank you.

Washington doesn’t have a set date like Wyoming, just a general time frame of before June 31st.

With modern day computer programs and today's technology, they should be able to get us the results in a few days.  Not over a month like they do each year.

...and then when theres a screw up and they yank everyone's results for a redraw we all come on here and scream bloody murder!

I dont care what day they post the draw results in June or how many times they have to run the draw as long as I finally end up with an OIL tag when they post the results. That's not asking for too much, right?  :chuckle: I'd prefer a sheep tag, but I'm not that picky!

Last year was drawn I believe on June 12.  Hoping for a similar date this year.

Wonder if there’s a way to find out the number of applicants?! That kinda determines the draw date

That would be cool, I honestly don't think as many will put in because of the pandemic, as well as delayed hunting and fishing in this state. I could be wrong and way off, look at me I haven't put in for elk for 20 years and never for deer until this season. I'd like to know the number of applicants as well. We won't find that out until next years pamphlet is released I take it.

As crazy as the Weyco permit sales were this year I have a feeling there will be a big jump in permit apps because people will be staying closer to home instead of heading to other states.

With this ^^^ and archery cow draws on the eastside I was thinking a lot of people are gonna be hunting the westside and ghost pointing.

I heard that Insley put Suzi LeVine in charge of the draw this year and a Nigerian dude just drew every permit for every category... :chuckle:
