I would guess numbers are down but that’s just  cause I personally know people who said they are done donating to this state🤷🏻‍♂️
I'm betting they are up.  Every state in the west has seen a jump in apps...even states that had apps due during some real craziness and uncertainty with covid.   :dunno:

:yeah: really makes you wonder if the gov handed out just a little too much free money...

Yeah all of the private tree farm permits on the westside with the exception of some of the Hancock pierce/king county stuff sold out in almost record time...Aberdeen, Peell Weyerhaeuser etc.  My guess is that tag apps will follow the same trend.  With every guy that drops theres two to take their place and "fill the freezer" to prepare for the "end of the world".

people may not have been working but majority of people I know are spending way less in their daily lives then they do when they were working. No gas money, lunches while at work, eating out at night etc. I also think just as many people, if not more applied this year because they needed something to anticipate and look forward to. So much negativity, doom and gloom and frustration. Dropping some coin on a hope and a prayer for a dream hunt could be worth the investment

From my perspective, the other thing is that when you are deprived of the ability to go out and recreate I really developed a better appreciation for it.  In my case, you don't know what you got until it's gone holds true.  Resident special draws are cheap, you can apply for a bunch for the cost of the tank of gas you didn't use to commute to work the first week of the shut in.

Anyone else notice categories on their points updated to the current date 6/3/20. Only a few of mine are; such as categories I am not eligible or did not apply. But I do have one category in which I did apply, and do have points. But the points show zero.  :dunno:

Results by next Thursday is what I heard today.  Could be much sooner than Thursday is what I was also told by the same person.
