Never asked for detailed info or anybody's honey hole. I just don't get why you guy's would waste your time with useless smart a$$ comments. You would think if someone drew a spring tag and didn't know the unit you would want to help. Not say things like "bears are out and dying" or "it's a shame that tag is going to waste" access has been closed he has a job and I was just hoping for a starting point since the unit is new for him and he doesn't have to waste a lot of time trying to learn the road system and such. I guess I asked for too much. I know it's all about putting your time in and being at the right place at the right time, but circumstances don't really allow that this time. You others that chimed in could have left your 2 cents to your selves in my opinion. Apparently ghost doesn't have a spring tag or he wouldn't have said he didn't draw with 4 points or whatever...I wasn't talking about fall tags.

It says You have been on since 2016. Not a I just signed up kind of guy.
I would help You if I had some info for that area.
Some of the stuff people said is very helpful. The bear peals for example.
Change your approach and I'm sure You will get some help.

There's not a single comment on here like that, except yours, but you won't get it because you don't hunt bear, so you won't understand the advice you got was sound.

105 has bear everywhere, there's not a single sq mile that doesn't have a fresh bear track.

It's been a wet spring so water and green grass is everywhere.  The bear are scattered, so you find them by going to the unit and glassing, looking for sign and being at the right place at the right time and not getting busted

I'm convinced most novice bear hunters getting frustrated at not seeing bear.... is because they're getting busted.

With so much green, I'd focus on finding fresh bear tracks and bleating, they've ate a lot of salad and will be wanting some meat.  They're tipping logs and rocks, can't tell you how many fresh rolled logs I've been seeing.

Yes, the bear peel post was helpful, I think it's pretty obvious what other comments I was talking about. How do you know I'm not a bear Hunter! Not saying I'm an expert, but I've put in a lot of time trying to figure them out and finally killed my first bear last season. Thank you everyone, I didn't mean to "approach it wrong"

Hey no sweat, I'm not upset and I hope you aren't either.  Just get out there and whack a bear!

I can tell you I watched him long enough to know something besides salad was on the menu.  A call will get their attention.

You didn't approach it wrong. Ghost Hunter was being a smart ass and and those that defended his arrogance and questioned you on an obvious observation are the reason this forum died years ago.

I think that's a bit unfair.

i would agree.  Jmo.   The folks that have given you info know the area well and gave good info.  The area holds tons of bears.
Bears are dieing means get out there ASAP, tags are getting filled.  Bear are out and about.  The hunting is good is all that means.  Getting a non “sarcastic” remark from a ne wa resident is asking a lot if your not a friend.  Some translation may be needed.
Throw a dart at the map, make sure it’s public land and go glass some bears.  4x4 may be needed depending on weather

I may be guilty of the charge as well.  Had a member show up to my place when I was not there and had informed them of that.  But the neighbors called me.  I called his cell and told him not to return.

I WAS ACCUSED OF NO FRIENDSHIP SKILLS.

I am good with that. 😲😲

But he was observed looking in all the windows.

Perhaps that's why I keep my cards close to my vest.

Cards and vest’s definitely go well together.

Ya, you go no friendship skills

I was running (ok walking) my brittanys by and waved to you sitting on your porch playing with your pups and you pretended not to see me
