RIP Newton
«

High school buddy got taken by Covid 19 the other night at the age of 47. I know there is a ton of politics surrounding this whole thing and I get it. Let's not forget that these numbers are also real people. Horrid way to die with nobody with you, family not even able to say goodbye...pretty unreal when you really stop and think about it. Sad on any level. Rest in Peace Newton...Have fun jamming with Dime Bag and all the other great guitarists. Peace to your family and close friends. See you again someday

Wow, 47, so much life still to go.
Really sorry for your loss.
RIP Newton.

sorry to hear this and the point you made of dying in quarantine is unimaginable. That is perhaps the worse part. That had to be agonizing for him as well as his friends and family. I can't imagine.

Thank you for the well wishes...unfortunately we hadn't been in contact for a while. Somehow you always think there will be time to get together later, sometimes you don't unfortunately. No underlying health issues and yes he was from Washington. Tell those you love that you love them and maybe pick up the phone and make that call you have been meaning to make and reconnect with someone even if you think it has been too long.
Be well everyone...make the most of every day,
