Visit to Bearmanrics
« on: April 11, 2009, 11:44:08 AM »
My daughter and I stopped by Ricks today to check out his shop and whatnot. I was admireing one of his calls and he said I could have it, he said it was cracked and just couldnt sell it. I looked closely and could barely see the crack with my naked eye.  He said he had glued it. My point is Rick is a real stand up guy in my book, I dont think anyone would have ever noticed the crack after the repair, but Rick knew it was there and wouldnt sell it. Thanks Rick  You are a great guy and an even better call maker :chuckle: Markts

Yeah he's great.  Makes really nice calls.  I think I have 5 or 6 myself.  Meed to get back over to his place and see what else he has.

I'm glad you got all the old ones.....It looks like I got a nice fresh set.   I'm almost as bad as Jackelope.  I'm not sure how many Rick calls I have.  Not enough I guess.... ;)

I need to come over and look at the different types of wood you have for calls.  I like that bocote but I know you have some others that are real nice.

They look great.  I really like that third one over. Smooth shape with the beveled end.  Looks like it could be made out of billet aluminum.

PM sent.
