Sounds like a good dog. However article seems to embellish quite a bit. What record are they actually claiming to break? I am sure there are dogs owned by guides that retrieve many more birds in a season. Now consider places like Argentina where there aren't limits on birds such as goose. Those dogs are retrieving hundreds of a birds a day.

At first I wondered the same regarding dogs used by guides, but they do reference waterfowl and upland game, not one or the other, which is how most guides operate. They further reference the number of species of birds that the dog retrieved, I think that probably sets the dog apart from most?
