20 gauge 1 ounce loads
« on: May 31, 2020, 10:46:29 AM »
Stumbled into about 12 lbs of a discontinued powder yesterday.  Winchester 473AA.  In my mind it was the best powder for 1 ounce loads in the 2 3/4 inch 20 gauge loads.   I do not care for Longshot as it has a different pressure curve and peaks further down the barrel.  It has an odd sounding report.   I only hope I live long enough to shoot up all this powder.

I bet I can help you shoot it all up before we get to old to shoot Bill. I sure miss IMR 4756 for 1 oz 20ga loads.

I think I have more than I can reasonably use.  I'll run out of wads first.
