4 point buck I saw over the weekend.

Um.... are you from "back East"?  Looks like a fork horn / 2 pt. to me.

Not West of the Mississippi (too much counting for us... :chuckle: :chuckle:)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well I watch way too many Primos/Realtree/Muzzy DVD's  ;) And since I haven't been a bowhunter that long, that's where a girl like me get's her info, you see :) BTW I was born and raised right here in the Yakima Valley :chuckle:

No problem.  Counting all the points is an "east of the Mississippi" thing.  Here in the west we generally count only the points on one main beam for mulies (not counting eyeguards), and only the points on one side (including eyeguards) for whitetails.

For example:  THis is a 4 point mulie

This was from last summer. I spent all of last deer season holding out for him... nicknamed him "Brutus", one of the biggest blacktails I've seen in the wild. Haven't gone looking for him yet this summer. Hopefully he survived and I'll find him again!

Will do soon  ;) I'm gonna pick up a couple trail cams from my elk spot this weekend and move 'em to my deer spot next weekend.

This is his brother, "Bruno" (I think I posted a pic of him last year)... I was so intent on finding Brutus I didn't think I could shoot Bruno if I saw him. Sure enough I saw Bruno during season, but he was gone so fast I didn't even have a chance to contemplate dropping him. This year, he's fair game. His rack was nice and dark in October.

Am I the only person that names the deer I'm chasing?  :chuckle:
