Might take a look at the Columbia Silver Ridge II’s, they have them in your size and looks like they are on sale with good reviews.

Kings XKG series pants super tough and stretchy water resistant come in tall sizes I’m 6’8” and the talls fit perfect solid or camo colors and different weights from early to late season have ran them hard and they will last no rips or snags

Check out the Duluth Flexpedition pants. I have 1 pair of them right now that I am putting through the paces. They might become my new hunting pants

I have a couple pair of 5.11 Traverse stretchy pants and they are tough, light and dry very quickly.  You can spray them with a commercial waterproofing and it will keep them dry for a period of time but I don't worry about it as they dry so quickly.

Could you tell them to make some pants for tall folks please!?

Prana or Kuiu

Prana, but I just looked on their website and I see they make a 36" inseam pant. They don't seem to sell them in stores, at least not at REI and with their L XL M sizing system, I don't like to risk what fits and what doesn't. I have found that I always end up fitting somewhere between a L and XL. Wish I could try some on somewhere with the right inseam.

What the heck.
The cool Prana pants are the stretch Zion pants right? I was right...no 36" inseam.

put on gaiters to fill the gap Josh! :chuckle:

If they have your size I'd highly recommend eddie bauer pro guide first ascents.  Have a few pairs are work amazingly well.

Be warned also, the Zion come in skinny fit and regular fit.  When I very first tried them on at the store, I accidentally grabbed the skinny fit, went to the dressing room and could barely get the dang things to my thighs.  I thought no way can everyone love these pants.  When I was walking out the gal there asked me how they fit, I said, well I got them just past my knees and that was that.  She giggled and asked to see them, then she said I had grabbed the skinny fit, went and got the regular and been in love ever since.

My goto for hiking around in mild weather is outdoor research,  I get them half price.

recently got me a pair of wrangler outdoor performance and now it's a tossup!   I like the pocket arrangement on the wranglers much better.  The OR pockets suck, barely get half a hand in them.

They finally came in today!  When I was ordering it said "free 2 day shipping", and then after I ordered it said 6-8 days.  Maybe I misunderstood something?  Anyway, they fit really nice (not the skinny jean look), and look well made.

+1 for the Prana Stretch Zions.  They're by FAR the most comfortable hiking pants of the couple dozen different options I've tried over the years.

I use the Zions for everything unless it's pouring rain, in which case I throw on my OR Foray rain pants, or if it's consistently below freezing, in which case I prefer my OR Cirque II softshell pants.

that usually means they SHIP them within 2 days, not that they ARRIVE within two days.
