Anyone bought a benchmark brake and had them install it?
Want to get a brake installed, but don't know where to begin.

I did, but they made the barrel for me also. Turned out perfect. I think it is called their Miller brake.

I had one installed on a stock Tikka T3, turned out awesome. Perfectly timed.

I had one installed on a stock Rem 700 long range barrel. Great work. Very clean installation.

I have had them build one custom rifle for me. Had some issues with them in the build.
However they make great barrels and brake's. I think I have 5 of their barrels and 3 of the miller brakes.

I have three custom rifles from them all with miller brakes installed. All quarter minute guns. Brakes are very effective.

I have tried one of the brakes. With muzzle breaks you get somewhat of a compromise. Direct 90 degree ports are not as effective s the angled back ones. An APA *censored*, muzzle brakes and more, or my favorite Terminator breaks are farrr more effective. But they are louder and make the guy next to you annoyed. I don’t even shoot in brakes rifles without ear plugs in. If I am going to have a muzzle brake I take the most effective. MBM or Terminator.

If the Apa Gen 3 FB was available without ugly selftiming hex nut I would use it. Until then using MBM and Terminator.
