I forgot to mention that 15-20 minutes after I left the house to hunt on wednesday my wife sent this pic from our front yard. Let me tell you, after hunting so hard without seeing a cow I was tempted to turn around and pop this one. LOL. If I had a mica tag I would have.  How nice to bag a moose on your own property.

Congrats on a great hunt and you are going to LOVE that meat. Moose is sooooo good. I know I was starting to sweat mine as well. These hunts aren't as easy as most people think they are. Or at least not as easy as I thought it would be. Elkslayer helped me out. He was a huge help and I just wanted to second, he's a great guy and it was a great experience hunting with him. Total stranger but felt like I was with family. Glad you got it done, congrats.

Man, I hear you, it seems like I was only seeing bulls where I was at too until I finally connected with the only cow I saw my whole hunt. Congrats, she's a big ol' girl!
