Drew 154c Mount Emily Deer November 14 - 29.

Only tag I drew this year...I’ll take it😄

A buddy of mine and two friends drew that tag a few years ago, all ate tag soup. I hope you have better luck.  They saw lots of "nice" bucks but not the whoppers they expected during a rut hunt.

Yeah, Eastern Oregon deer numbers are in the toilet, but I want out of Oregon. I would rather use my money elsewhere.

Our group drew Owyhee buck tags and drew a cow tag for Zumwalt #6. I am 100% on filling that cow tag so far so looking forward to meat in the freezer again this year.
I hunt therefore I am.

My son, son-in-law and father-in-law has Owyhee buck tags last year. We hunted from Jordan Valley North along the Idaho border. It was tough. Only saw one decent buck.

One person said we should have tried it from the Water, but we didn’t have a good boat to use.

We are taking a boat and also thinking of floating the river.

We drew Chesnimnus for elk and Heppner for deer.  I think my point savers helped us get them from the last few years helped.

Rifle for both.  I'm not confident enough for the archery yet.
