Still waiting on a few draws but it "should" be:

WA archery elk
WY deer
ID deer
WY elk
Daughters wa deer
CO deer
MT deer
Wife's WA deer

MAYBE WA deer if my baby brother gets back from deployment with enough time to party. Fingers crossed on that and WY deer not slipping through my fingers 😬 I'll probably sneak in on some draw tags with others as well.

Hope you and your bro can make the dates line up 👊

Always love seeing how you and your family's hunts shape out, your daughter is already 10x's the hunter that I am!

Scouting and running trail cams as an excuse to be in woods starts either this weekend or next. Just like to see pictures of critters and have a reason to be out hiking.

August wandering around in the woods pretending I am hunting bears really more scouting elk
Sept wandering around some more this time actually hunting elk/deer.
Oct probably still wandering around looking for a deer ( if I buy multi season tag )
Nov-Dec  More wandering for Elk and Deer if no tags filled yet.

Pretty much the plan is wander around hope I get lucky, I should really learn to hunt better
In God we trust, all others bring cash.

Do not say, Why were the old days better than these? For it is not wise to ask such questions.

I don’t bounce around as much as I used to.   I’ve learned to hunts areas where big deer live and to stay put until you get it done!

Not looking good this year.  Work in alaska all of august, get home early september and see if i cant pull a bear or two out of my ass in a maybe 2 week period, then probably back to alaska until november, at which time ill be hunting a buck i probably wont kill, which will result in me freezing my ass off through dec 15th, missing out on the chance to use my idaho deer tag.  Then, after getting screwed on august bear season and rifle elk season, and failing at deer season, ill try to take my anger out on lions and coyotes and wolves.  Going to do some bobcat trapping too.
