Elk area 6014
« on: June 16, 2020, 06:57:41 AM »
I got drawn for the late Puyallup cow elk tag. Way late: Feb. 11-28. I meant to only put in for the Green river cow elk tag and erase the Puyallup tag, but I forgot.  Of course, I get drawn for it. If anyone has any info on private land access I would appreciate it. I am willing to pay a fee for access.

gutting it out could be interesting, I wonder how developed the fetus will be if she's pregnant?  You'll have some damn good meat though, easy winters on this side, hope you find some access.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

Thanks. I have been told I should try to find a young bull with no horns to avoid the fetus issue.

Many late hunts are damage control. Killing a pregnant cow removes two animals.

Good luck.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

Agreed.

A cow killed in October is likely already pregnant, just not as obvious.

It's not noticeable unless you go looking.
