Raffle Sales
« on: June 15, 2020, 12:46:21 PM »
How are raffle sales looking this year compared to last year?  I'm not tracking any of them but they seem to have pretty good sales so far.  For those that do track I'm curious if this is true or whether it is just perception.

Last year on 6/17 these are what the sales were.
3 deer 247
NE combo 282
SC combo 1002
SE combo 628
NC combo 1750
BT 329
MD 853
WT 424
WE 1005
EE 2400
Sheep 2154
Moose 1358
MG 1602

Pretty much everything is up and some up by a lot.  There are three that are down but my guess is that will change this week because of draw results and people are looking for a new option.

Yep, eastern elk is almost double what it was this time last year.  Of course the auction tag went for a record level this year so whoever was bidding it up and didn't get it is now playing the raffle game I am sure.  I think most auctions went for record levels so that means that whoever lost has tons of money to dump into the raffles and we aren't even to the last week when numbers normally skyrocket.

The other thing is I feel like there are a lot of guys that didn't get drawn for anything this year and are spending $40-$100 bucks on raffles hoping to the be the winner.

You can't win if you don't have a ticket.

Idaho super hunt raffle/apps were up 60-80% over last year...I suspect that trend is playing out elsewhere.

I noticed that there was a bit of a surge in sales for some of the tickets about a week and a half ago.  For one category it took from early January to mid June to make it to 1,000 tickets, then a 25% increase in a week which is now at about 34% (over two weeks).  Seems to be less holding back this year.  Also noticed that the timber company permits went faster than normal this year, so fast for one that the server was crashed.

Where do you find your raffle ticket #s? All I see on my wdfw login is how many of each I bought, I cannot find actual ticket numbers anywhere.

So the receipt should have a list of raffle numbers on it? I've got it here in front of me and am not seeing anything like that. It's got a transaction code and that's it other than the usual credit card transaction info etc..

Below the transaction number should be customer name. Next line should be what raffle and the last line should be ticket numbers or numbers.
