Hunting with my PSE
« on: July 01, 2020, 07:51:56 AM »
Well, gotta say, I have been wanting to switch from my Hoyt anyways, but after killing an elk every year I have owned that bow plus a couple archery deer it has been a hard decision.  After my last tournament and a ton of frustration with the Hoyt, I have set up my PSE Beast.  Arrows are 40 grains heavier (calculations because I haven't weighed it) but appears to be shooting the same speed as I haven't moved any pins in my housing and am hitting out to 40.  Hoping for a great September and a little torn that I won't have the Hoyt in my hand :'(
A bad day out hunting is better than a good day at work!
